Remember Soap on a Rope? It's back — only better.

My 1970s-inspired Soap on a Rope is paired with a handmade stoneware soap dish to create a practical, beautifully made gift with plenty of personality.

Generously sized at approximately 160g and made to last, each soap can last around six months depending on use and care, while the stoneware dish is designed to be kept and enjoyed long after the soap has finally disappeared.

I personally choose the soap and pair it with one of my stoneware dishes from the current collection. Each dish is designed by Manchester Candle Makers and individually handmade by a local potter in Salford. Fragrance, glaze and finish may vary depending on availability — making every gift a little different.

It's a little nod to the seventies, reimagined for a more sustainable way of living — useful, reusable and considerably better looking than the one hanging in your bathroom in 1978.
